Here in our neck of the SW Oklahoma woods, many HVAC contractors are rather strict on what they’ll do for folks…and what they won’t. For example, it’s almost impossible to find a contractor who will do installs on a Saturday or even respond to emergency calls on the weekend.

At Robinson, we operate on a different set of values. We seek to go above and beyond the call of duty. We take service SERIOUSLY. That being the case…

We hate to tell customers no.

Why? Well, first and foremost, because we love what we do. And we love this area and the communities we serve. But, more than that, we’re human. We know that extenuating circumstances happen. Things come up. Sometimes we’re talking to a single mom working her backside off who just can’t be at home during the day on a workday.

Over the years, we’ve definitely had to make miracles happen. It’s not often, but we’ve been known to pull some strings a time or two so folks get what they need and can get comfortable again.

Here’s An Easy Example
That Hits Close To Home

Not long ago, we got a call from someone who was in dire need of what we call a special install. As you might expect, the situation was serious. And, as it turns out, the woman was actually the mom of one of our apprentices!

What was the deal?

She needed weekend AC services (a new system installation). This included ductwork, and while it wasn’t quite the hot season, it was going to be a sunny weekend. And…the project would bleed into the afternoon and evening hours.

What did we do?

We needed to come up with a solution because not everyone in our company was available. So, we got a crew together, some of which were volunteers, and we got the work done. It took some logistical feats, but truth be told, when folks around here need help…help is not far off.

Again, it’s one of the reasons we love what we do. It’s satisfying!

Of course, all we’re talking about is a new AC system and some ductwork, and a few other small things, but when your home breaks down when an emergency pops up…it MATTERS. Especially when there are people in the home who need it to be running on all cylinders.

When an emergency strikes, we’re there for our customers. It’s rare, but it happens. Saturday installs are rare, but we’ll do them if accommodations NEED to be made. You might be thinking we’re crazy for admitting this openly online, but the truth is, most people don’t want weekend installs.
